Blessed Edmund Campion

Well it was Blessed Edmund Campion when I was there, eventually achieving sainthood, sadly the school was demolished around 2006 (I think), there's not much information regarding the school, not even on the internet! Well at least we have some thing to look back on, the pictures I took show a little snapshot of what happened in a school that opened its doors of an evening giving a place for young people to take part in various sports, crafts and social interaction.

Along with the pictures is a gallery showing the Blessed Edmund Campion opening year book, this was kindly lent to me for the purposes of scanning  to the site by my friend of many years Liz Skyrme (Brown), I think the book shows a different world then, an age of innocence, that would seem very much out of place in the world we live today. I know its very fashionable to judge the 60s as the start of the so called permissive society, however I would reserve judgement on that theory, and put it down to a media just pushing stories about people in the music industry, that had no bearing on what was happening in the real world.
