Bradford City Hall Heritage Days, Open Day September 2011
On Saturday 10th September after leaving the Mechanic's Institute Library which had been open to the public as part of Bradford Heritage Days, my wife Elaine, David Glass and I decided that this would be an excellent opportunity to take a look inside Bradford City Hall which was also involved in the Heritage Days festival. I don't recall ever being inside the building, in fact I think none of our party had graced this iconic Bradford building. So a good opportunity came begging here, with me thinking of a gallery for the site and David all tooled up and ready with a new lens to try out.
David had brought his camera (Nikon D80) and was for the first time giving his Sigma 10mm f4-5.6 ultra wide zoom an airing, with an ideal subject being presented to him here at Bradford City Hall. All the pictures in this gallery were taken by David, and I have to say the ultra wide angle of the Sigma opens the building up for the viewer.
