Edmund Campion
As you can see from the pictures, a very sorry state my old school looks here. It would not be long before the demolition men would come and within a month demolish the last of the most modern 60s Roman Catholic School within the Bradford boundary. My days of delibrately driving out of my way, approaching it from the Allerton Rd end of Rhodesway, or the Thornton Rd end of Rhodesway, to induce a long forgotten memory of my school days. Now at an end! Courtesy of its demolition, Instead, where a fine modern 60s built school stood, an estate comprising of flats now stand, people have to have homes I appreciate that, but somehow it's not the same driving on Rhodesway anymore!
My brother Kevin had the foresight to take these pictures, how he manged to access all areas, is a question between him and his maker, but I know that i'm grateful and I'm sure a number of Eddie Camps are also.
