If you're looking for a car that will bring elegance to any event weather it be Bridal or  Special Occasion's then nothing much says it like a Bentley, in this case a Bentley Arnage. I've seen it I've been in it and whilst he wont lend it to me for a weekend even though I've known the proprieter for over 35 years, I still recommend this A list company run by a Top Class man, yes you're right of course I recommend gentlybentley.com

This link is dedicated to my wife's sister Ali Briggs. Ali is originally from Bradford and works as an actor on both stage and television. She's best known however for playing Emily's niece in Coronation Street also appearing in ITV 1's "Fat Friends". Ali is now about to embark on a tour of Kaite O'Reilly's production of Peeling an epic post modern production of The Trojan Women. Keep an eye out for Ali's website for future updates.

Ali in another role, Who Do You Think You Are? A short film commission for DaDa (Disability Arts Disability and Deaf Arts Organisation) as part of their DaDaVisions programme produced in November 2009. This short film was written and acted by trio No Excuses; Mandy Colleran, Mandy Redvers-Rowe and Ali Briggs (who some may recognise as Freda in Coronation Street). The film is a take on the classic Frost Report sketch from the 1960s featuring the Two Ronnies and John Cleese; then a comment upon the British class system but now playfully adapted to explore the stereotypes and labels that the disabled place upon each other, Who Do You Think You Are?Executive Producers Bren O’Callaghan and Ruth Gould (DaDa). Supported by Liverpool City Council, Phil & Alexis Redmond and Northwest Vision & Media.

Well known local Bradford Photographer Tony O'Connell (believe it or not, no relation) gets the BradfordEye link  treatment to his website "Tony O'Connell Photography". Tony's work cuts a swathe through all the genre relating to his photographic work. Have a look at his excellent site (he said jealously!just click and go) and be transported to images local and from around the world. See you for a beer sometime Tony!

I got a lovely e-mail from Mychailo Kazybrid commenting on the website and pictures of the area he lived in way back when. Mychailo is a Bradford exile and as usual with people from Bradford alot of their best talent gets exported to such far flung places as South Yorkshire. I'm not going to go on about his site save to say that you can obviously see that Myhcalo is an obviously talented artist and his site well worth a view , so e-mail Mychailo or give him a call should you need anything of that ilk doing. Now anecdote time, during the e-mailing session he mentioned the stuff on the BradfordEye website relating to a certain Carl Gresham, and went on to say that he worked down the corridor from him when Carl had an office in Salem St Bradford around the 80s, I mentioned this to Carl and he not only went on to say that he remembered Mychailo but that he'd drawn his Gresham mascot Eagle which indeed you can see on his website to this day. All the best for the future Mychailo!

Whitaker's of Shipley, 16/18 Commercial Street Shipley. A local specialist kitchen appliance centre, well known in the area for high-end domestic appliances. The shop is also a Euronics Centre and able to supply Dyson, Electrolux, Hotpoint, Hoover, LG, Neff, Bosch,Baumatic, Belling, Creda, Samsung, Numatic, Sebo, Panasonic, Cannon, Parkinson Cowan, Stoves, Zanussi, Siemens, Whirlpool, Smeg, Rangemaster and Miele. Now that's a range, and if the item's not in stock, then be assured that Whitaker's will be able to order for supply. An excellent service from this local company. I can, with certainty,  recommend this fine local domestic retailer! They offered me the choice of a fridge or freezer on loan, whilst they ordered our Fisher Paykel fridge freezer. I don't know of any other company that would have offered me that option, plus it was with us the same afternoon. Great service! BradfordEye

The latest addition to BradfordEye photographers comes in the form of Christine Shears. Christine is from Bradford, and is very fond of getting out there with a camera in all weathers! Currently using a Nikon D300, Christine has a broad brush repertiore which can be see in full on clicking on this link to view Christine's  Flickr site, openbuds@photostream.

Give a little of your attention to this site. The site has a large number of old pictures of Bradford and also a history of Wibsey and Bradford.
