Thornton Road Parade 70s.
I can only imagine that the pictures on this gallery were taken at a Lord Mayors' Parade.I didn't write anything down in those days (who did!) re details etc, although looking back I would recommend anyone setting out to take pictures, with a view to being used as some sort of future historical record. I know it frustrates me, that for the lack of a few words, a more accurate record could have been achieved! Ah well! No point looking back on what I should have done! So if anyone out there, that has an idea of what was happening the day these pictures were taken please get in touch.
